Support
Find the right contact for your enquiry. Your organisation’s team manages activities, accounts and records; Support handles how CheckTau works.
Activities, accounts and records
Contact the team that supplied your registration, account or pass to correct data or attendance, review a payment, change notification preferences or request a new link. Technical support does not decide registrations or provide access to another organisation’s records.
Technical issues
If a screen or feature fails, write to the support contact. State whether you use the web, iOS or Android, the affected screen, approximate date and time, steps to reproduce the issue and error message. Add the browser or app version and operating system if known. You can attach redacted screenshots.
This link opens your email app; it does not automatically send the message or create a receipt confirmation. This channel has no guaranteed response time.
Privacy and your rights
For access, correction or erasure of data, contact your organisation’s controller. The privacy policy identifies the parish contact and explains the procedure. Do not send identity documents on your own initiative: only the necessary information will be requested when appropriate.
Privacy PolicyPossible security issues
If you believe you can access other people’s data or have found a vulnerability, stop checking and use the Security contact and instructions. Do not include credentials or third-party data in general support emails.
Security and vulnerability reportingBefore contacting us
- The link or passcode has expired
- Ask the team for a new one. Successful verification may consume the link even if an interruption prevents the pass being displayed. Save the PNG when the pass is visible.
- You cannot sign in
- Use the staff account supplied by your organisation. If it needs recovery or is locked, contact the team. There is no public account registration. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and close all sessions once you can sign in.
- Attendance or a notice is incorrect
- Ask the team to review the event and check-in. An absence notice is based on available records and does not by itself prove someone was not there. Notification preferences are managed for each family relationship.
- You do not know whether an operation finished
- Check the state or ask the team before repeating changes, generating passwords, sending emails or verifying a link. Reloading does not reverse an operation already performed.
What not to send
Never attach passwords, PINs, QR credentials, full access or Wallet links, or participant lists. Hide unnecessary names, contacts and identifiers in screenshots and addresses. Replies will be sent by email and both mailbox providers will process the message; see Privacy for how support data is used.
This channel does not handle emergencies or monitor people. If there is immediate danger, use emergency services and contact your organisation.
